Events cover many areas of interest, and all youth are sure to find multiple activities they will enjoy. Additionally, participants enjoy snow skiing, shopping, and sight seeing in the beautiful Great Smokey Mountains in Eastern Tennessee. More information and registration details coming soon! Guts and Glory McKee Adventure Race May 10, 2008 Think you’re tough? The McKee Adventure Race is climbing, canoeing, biking, and hiking, all rolled into one grueling event. Teams of 2, open to anyone 14 years old, or older. Northern Tier Wilderness Canoe Trek July 28 – August 8, 2008 Next summer, 16 Boy Scouts and leaders of the Blue Grass Council will be headed north to canoe country at the Charles L. Sommers Canoe Base. There, they will be spending a week paddling, fishing and enjoying the wilderness areas of Minnesota. Open to Boy Scouts 14 years old, or older, by July 25, 2008. More information and registration details Florida Sea Base, Keys Adventure December 27, 2008 - January 2, 2009 Boy Scouts and leaders of the Blue Grass Council will be headed south to the Florida Sea Base. There, they will be spending a week swimming, fishing and enjoying the Florida Keys.
