Weekend Reservations

Reservations for weekend use must be made by contacting the Blue Grass Council Service Center. A Facility/Equipment use permit must be filled out and appropriate deposits made. The use permit may be faxed to the service center and your unit account can be used for the deposits. Please send the completed form to the service center at least one week in advance, so preparations can be made for your arrival. Please note, if you plan to use the lake for swimming or boating, you must use the Troop Safe Swim Defense plan or the Safety Afloat plan and you must provide the names of your BSA Lifeguards on the use permit. They must show their BSA Lifeguard cards to the Camp Ranger before swimming.

Change in Availability

Campsite 13 has been repaired, and is now available.

Keeneland Training Lodge is once again available for unit use. However, the main training room is not. Units can use room #2, the more primitive room, using the fireplace for heat. The kitchen and restroom area will be available with this room.

The Thornton Administration Building is now a year-round camp program facility. Because of permanent program equipment and supplies, it is only available for Council or District events.

Also a reminder: The Adirondack Shelters and Offutt Shelters are only accessible by hiking. They are intended as backpacking destinations, not as drive-in campsites.

We are sorry for any inconvenience.

PLEASE NOTE: You will not receive written confirmation of your reservation; you can verify it on the chart below. We will post it as soon as it is processed and approved.
