Boy Scout Camping
PLEASE NOTE: You will not receive written confirmation of your reservation; you can verify it on the chart below. We will post it as soon as it is processed and approved.
Reservations for weekend use must be made by contacting the Blue Grass Council Service Center. A Facility/Equipment use permit must be filled out and appropriate deposits made. The use permit may be faxed to the Service Center and your unit account can be used for the deposits. Please send the completed form to the Service Center at least one week in advance, so preparations can be made for your arrival. Please note, if you plan to use the lake for swimming or boating, you must use the Troop Safe Swim Defense plan or the Safety Afloat plan, and you must provide the names of your BSA Lifeguards on the use permit. They must show their BSA Lifeguard cards to the Camp Ranger before swimming.
For more information on Weekend Reservations, email the Council Service Center at:
The Adirondack Shelters are once again open! They have new roofs, new fireplaces, and a new shelter for the picnic table.
Please remember that they, and the Offutt Shelters, are only accessible by hiking. They are intended as backpacking destinations not as drive-in campsites.
