Fun, adventure, advancement and challenge, combined with our facilities and beautiful surroundings, will make your week at camp most memorable. Whether you have new Scouts starting in the Dan Beard Program, preparing them for their First Class Rank, more seasoned campers working on the many Merit Badges offered, or an older Scout who feels he needs to try the COPE Triple Threat, we have a program suited for your Troop. We provide a safe environment to strengthen your patrols and have a trained staff eager to help. You will have a more skilled and knowledgeable Troop as a result of the week at camp. Our Summer Camp Program has 3 areas of emphasis: The NEW Dan Beard Program for the first year camper. This program is designed for the Scout working toward First Class. Merit Badge Instruction, for the Scout working on advancement from First Class through Eagle. Advanced Programs, such as Sailing, Motor Boating, the Triple Threat and Climbing. This is for the Scout that has been to camp for a few years and wants to broaden his horizons, or just have a good time. From the weekly “DOG” (Dutch Oven Gathering) to Disc Golf, “Cat’s Eye” orienteering, and the Water Carnival, there is plenty for the individual Scout, or the whole Troop, to do together in the evenings. The McKee Scout Reservation is proud to be a Nationally Accredited Camp by the Boy Scouts of America.
